Bald for research! Bald for meds! Such good can come from shaving heads!

Balding for Dollars supports many families during their struggles while their child is being treated for Cancer and Blood Disorders here at BC Children’s Hospital and other Care Centres. We provide “FUN” days out for the families; maintain a laundry room on 3B, and have pizza days on the ward, just to name a few.  We also support medical equipment and supplies, medicines, feeding supplies and nutrition when not covered by health insurance. We also help families with temporary accommodation when needed. We feel that when we support the needs of the whole family, it benefits the sick child too.
